Air Conditioning Services – Midlands
Air conditioning services across the Midlands, including air-to-air heat pumps, diagnostics, servicing and compliant maintenance.
Diagnostic-led services, delivered by a senior engineer
Klymatec provides professional air conditioning servicing, diagnostics and support for systems across homes, schools, care environments, gyms and professional buildings.
All site visits are carried out by senior engineers. We do not send junior technicians or volume-based subcontract labour. Our focus is on planned servicing, accurate fault diagnosis and clear technical reporting for homes, schools, care environments and professional buildings. Engineers assigned to Klymatec contracts are F-Gas certified and authorised to complete compliant refrigerant work.
Our services are designed for systems that don’t work properly — where performance, efficiency or reliability issues require proper fault-finding rather than guesswork.
Diagnostic visits
Every job starts with a structured diagnostic visit.
This visit focuses on testing, measurement and assessment so the underlying cause of a problem is clearly identified before any repair or replacement is discussed. Diagnostic visits are designed to identify the cause of a fault. Where further investigation is required — such as locating a refrigerant leak using pressure testing — this is treated as a separate stage and quoted before proceeding.
Typical reasons to book a diagnostic visit include:
Repeated or unresolved faults
Poor heating or cooling performance
Constant cycling or unstable operation
High running costs or inefficiency
Icing or frequent defrosting
Suspected refrigerant loss
Repeated or unresolved faults
Air conditioning servicing & repair
We service and repair split and multi-split air-conditioning systems for both domestic and professional environments.
A standard service visit includes:
- Visual inspection and operational checks
- Filter cleaning
- Coil, fan and casing condition checks
- Electrical and mechanical inspection
- Condensate and drainage inspection
- F-Gas log updates (where applicable)
- Written condition report with recommendations
Servicing is carried out with a compliance-led approach, ensuring systems are assessed properly and supported with clear documentation where required.
Fault diagnostics and repairs are quoted separately following assessment.
Refrigerant leak investigation & repair
Refrigerant loss is a common cause of poor performance in both air-conditioning and heat-pump systems.
We carry out:
- Leak detection
- Pressure testing
- Refrigerant recovery
- Repair and recommissioning
All leak work follows a diagnostic-first process, ensuring repairs are justified and systems are returned to safe, efficient operation.
System optimisation & fault resolution
Not all problems require major repair or replacement.
In many cases, performance issues are caused by incorrect settings, control conflicts, commissioning errors or sensor faults.
Where possible, we focus on optimising existing systems to restore performance and reliability without unnecessary work.
Repairs, replacements and installations
Where diagnostics show that repairs are required, these are carried out in a controlled and clearly agreed manner.
If a system is no longer economical or viable to repair, we explain why and outline suitable replacement options.
New installations and system replacements are available following assessment, ensuring decisions are evidence-based rather than sales-led.
Ongoing servicing & support
For schools, care environments and professional buildings, we offer ongoing servicing and support arrangements, including:
- Regular planned servicing
- Consistent documentation
- Predictable maintenance planning
- A single, accountable senior engineer
These arrangements suit clients who value reliability, clarity and continuity.
Book a diagnostic visit
If your air-conditioning or heat-pump system is running but not working as it should, the first step is a proper diagnostic visit.
This allows informed decisions to be made with confidence before any work is agreed.
